Classic Basil Pesto from We Olive

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 1/4 cup of pine nuts
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method:

  1. In a food processor add first 5 ingredients except the olive oil.
  2. Pulse a few times to coarsely chop.
  3. Turn the food processor on low and slowly add EVOO until the mixture becomes a paste.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt.
