How to do it.

Join Carolyn as she provides a new understanding on how the Cannabinoid Pathway works and its function, offering effective solutions to support patients with chronic health issues.

The Cannabis plant has been used from ancient times with therapeutic purposes for treating human pathologies but the identification of the cellular and molecular mechanism underlying the therapeutic properties of the Phyto cannabinoids ,the active compounds in this plant, occurred relatively recently.

Endocannabinoid System

The ECS or endocannabinoidome has a multitude of functions in physiological and pathophysiological processes in the brain and body. It is perhaps best known for playing important roles in food intake and energy metabolism, regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, pain transmission, and a variety of emotional and behavioral conditions.

It is by understanding the mechanism of this system that we can better understand how we might help patients that show signs and symptoms of endocannabinoid system dysfunction.

What you'll learn in this webinar:

  • What are Cannabinoids
  • What does the endocannabinoid system do
  • What tissues do the cannabinoid receptors work on?
  • What are the tissue protective effects of CBD?
  • How does the endocannabinoid system affect and interact with the gut?
  • How does it regulate metabolic processes?
  • What are the key genes that affect this and how can we modulate them with nutrients and herbs?
  • How can we target different endocannabinoid binding receptors for therapeutic effect?
